  • Drink a glass 2 to 3 times a day before and during menstruation.

2. Milk and mustard seeds

  • 1 cup of hot milk (250 ml)

    • 1 cup of water (250 ml)
    • ½ tablespoon liquorice (5 g)
    • 1 tablespoon honey (25 g) (optional)

    preparation

    • Bring the water to the boil, add the liquorice and reduce the temperature.
    • Let the licorice root simmer for 2 to 3 minutes.
    • Then take it off the stove and let it steep for another 10 minutes.
    • Pour through a sieve and sweeten with honey.

      Ingestion

      • Start drinking 2 to 3 cups of licorice tea a day two days before menstruation.

      Note: If you suffer from high blood pressure, kidney failure or diabetes, you should avoid this remedy!
