Get some rest after eating

A bit of rest after eating is highly recommended. This allows the stomach to use the energy for digestion. Avoid exercising right after you eat and get some rest first.

However, a long siesta is not recommended for your health, so you should not lie in bed but rest on a chair or sofa.

Only take medication on a full stomach

If you frequently suffer from flatulence and indigestion, we advise you to eat foods that are not spicy, acidic and rich in fiber. You should also avoid the consumption of alcohol, carbonated drinks and fast food.

Many people have a bad habit of eating something before going to bed. This can then lead to poor digestion. It is advisable to have your last meal at least three hours before going to bed.

  • Apply all of this advice in your daily life and you will find that the indigestion and gas will go away. There are also natural remedies you can use to help. Ginger and lemon are highly recommended for flatulence and poor digestion.
  • You should take stomach and digestive problems seriously if they occur frequently. If stomach burning, indigestion, and gas occur more than twice a week, then it is advisable that you see a doctor, even if it is not a serious problem (such as irritable bowel syndrome, cystitis, food allergy or, in the worst case, cancer ).
