This title may sound surprising, which begs the question of what flavonoids  can do about  anxiety.

A team of researchers from the University of Emory (USA) and the Autonomous University of Barcelona (UAB) found that the active ingredient 7,8-dihydroxyflavone, which is found in flavonoids, is very effective for treating anxiety. 

Many drugs are being developed using this substance, which is also found in many foods. However, you should never stop taking medication yourself. Always consult your doctor!

For example, if you eat 8 strawberries a day, the dose of 7,8-dihydroxyflavone is still quite low, but it can still reduce anxiety . It is therefore advisable to incorporate these  nutrient-rich foods into the menu.
