Care for plants with cinnamon

Powdered cinnamon can be used for various garden problems. The results are amazing.

It is possible to treat plants with cinnamon as it is a natural fungicide and can fight fungi and insects and protect seedlings. It is a natural, harmless and inexpensive product that has many advantages for the care of plants.

1. Insect control

Cinnamon is very healthy for people, but not so for insects. If ants or mosquitoes attack small plants, a little cinnamon is enough to eliminate them.

Sprinkle some cinnamon around the plant or where you want to kill unwanted insects.

2. Against fungi

Cinnamon also helps against mold and fungus, just sprinkle some of it around the plants to prevent it from spreading.

If the fungal infestation is large, the fungi must be removed. If they are in the soil, you will need to replace them or repot the plant.

If the mushrooms are on the plant, sprinkle  some cinnamon on them to counteract it.

Sprinkle some cinnamon on the soil too, so the plants can grow healthy again.

3. Disease control

When growing fruit or vegetables, the seedlings often fall ill or are attacked by pests or fungi.

Cinnamon is also helpful in this case: Simply sprinkle something on the ground or add to the fertilizer.

4. Cinnamon for the cuttings

When growing cuttings, you don’t need to use chemicals to promote rooting.

Simply sprinkle some cinnamon on the stem before you plant the plant.

Cinnamon is the perfect solution: it saves you money because you don’t have to buy expensive chemical products and you help your plant grow healthily.
