1. Honey and almonds in skin care

The combination of honey and almonds in skin care also helps lighten the skin and make pigment spots appear paler.

ingredients

  • 1 teaspoon of almond oil (5 g)
  • 1 teaspoon lemon juice (5 ml)
  • 1 teaspoon milk powder (5 g)
  • 1 teaspoon honey (7.5 g)

preparation

  • Mix all ingredients in a plastic container until you get a smooth cream.
  • Apply this to your face and leave it on for about 25 minutes.
  • Wash the mask off with plenty of water.

Use the skin mask two to three times a week for best results.

2. Almonds and milk

Another way to use almonds in skin care is to combine them with milk.

The calcium in milk acts like a regulator for skin tone  and stimulates melanocytes. These cells are responsible for producing melanin or pigments in the skin.

  • 4 almonds
  • 1 teaspoon milk (10 ml)

preparation

  • Let the almonds soak overnight.
  • The next day, grind them small until a fine powder is formed.
  • Mix this powder with a teaspoon of milk until it has a creamy consistency.
  • Apply the mixture to your face and décolleté and leave it on overnight.
  • The next morning, wash your face with lukewarm water.

Repeat this process every day for 2 weeks and then only twice a week. Soon you will notice how this mask cleanses your skin and removes impurities.

3. Lemon and Almonds

However, it is important that  this remedy made from lemon and almonds is only used at night,  as it can cause skin irritation and pigmentation disorders during the day together with solar radiation.

For the same reason, it is essential to apply adequate sun protection before leaving the house.

  • 1 teaspoon lemon juice (10 ml)
  • 10 teaspoons of almond oil

preparation

  • Mix the two ingredients together until completely blended.
  • Apply the mixture to your face and especially under the eyes to combat dark circles. However, be careful not to get the liquid in your eyes.
  • Leave the mask on overnight and wash it off with lukewarm water the next morning.

4. Eggs and almonds

Another great way to use almonds in skin care is to combine them with eggs. Eggs are rich in protein and have beneficial properties when cooked and raw.

In this case we use raw eggs as they are particularly suitable for skin care in this state.

  • 1 teaspoon hot water (10 ml)

preparation

  • Mix all ingredients until you get a soft mass.
  • Apply the mixture generously to the skin and let it sit for 30 minutes.
  • Then wear the cream off with wet hands, gently massaging the skin as you go.

5. yogurt

Yogurt is rich in many different nutrients and makes for a healthy digestive system and a strong immune system.

Apart from that, yogurt can also be very moisturizing when used on the skin.

  • 2 teaspoons of yogurt (28 g)

  • Chop the almonds and mix them together with the yogurt until a homogeneous mass is formed.
  • Apply the mixture to your skin and let it sit for 15 minutes.

These skin masks are easy to make and you only need ingredients that you already have in your household.

Make sure to use them regularly. In the beginning it is advisable to apply the masks daily for two weeks and then only once or twice a week.

If possible,  leave the face masks on overnight. After that, you should apply a moisturizer.
